The Classic plan has the lowest annual medical deductible and annual out-of-pocket maximum and the highest monthly premium of our two plans.
In most cases, you must live in a medical plan’s service area to join the plan. If you move out of your plan's service area, and your medical plan is no longer available, you must select a new plan. If you do not, the PEBB Program will enroll you in a plan. You must report your new address to your payroll or benefits office no later than 60 days after your move. Visit plans available by county.
The CDHP Plan has a higher annual medical deductible and annual out-of-pocket maximum, but lower monthly premium than the Classic plan. This is a health savings account (HSA) qualified plan. You will pay the deductible first for most services, except preventive care.
Visit HealthEquity or watch their recorded webinar to discover the many uses for your HSA. The State of Washington contributes annually to the account on an individual or family basis. Once the money is in your account, it’s yours, and there is no deadline to use it.
