Beginning January 1, 2026, Uniform Medical Plan (UMP) Plus–Puget Sound High Value Network (PSHVN) and UMP Plus–UW Medicine Accountable Care Network (ACN) are closing and will no longer be available in any county.
You can stay enrolled in UMP Plus through the end of 2025, but during annual open enrollment (October 27 through November 24, 2025), you must select a new medical plan or you and any enrolled dependents will be automatically enrolled in UMP Classic (PEBB) or UMP Achieve 2 (SEBB). Information about 2026 plan options will be available this fall.
Special open enrollment and newly eligible employees: July through December 31, 2025
UMP Plus plans will end on December 31, 2025. If you choose one of these plans for the rest of 2025, you must choose a different plan for 2026. If you do not select a new plan during open enrollment, you and your covered dependents will be automatically enrolled in UMP Classic (PEBB) or UMP Achieve 2 (SEBB) effective January 1, 2026.
UMP Classic, UMP Select, and UMP Consumer-Directed Health Plan (CDHP) for PEBB members and UMP Achieve 1, UMP Achieve 2, and UMP High Deductible for SEBB members all offer a broader provider network that includes the same providers in the UMP Plus networks.
Information about 2026 changes will be available in early October. Subscribers can make plan changes during open enrollment (October 27 through November 24, 2025) for coverage effective January 1, 2026.
HCA will automatically enroll you and your covered dependents in UMP Classic (PEBB) or UMP Achieve 2 (SEBB) effective January 1, 2026.
