Disaster outreach services offer emotional support to residents during and following declared disasters in Washington State. The service is activated when counties find the need for emotional support is greater than their ability to meet the need.
When activated, disaster outreach services operate a toll-free telephone line for Washington State residents to access trained outreach workers who can provide support, as well as education, information and referral to resources to assist with recovery efforts.
