HCA partners and contractors: administrative freeze due to Governor's directive

On December 2, 2024, Governor Inslee announced Directive of the Governor 24-19, Freeze on Hiring, Services Contracts, Goods and Equipment Purchases, and Travel to go into effect immediately. As a result, the following are currently placed on administrative freeze status and subject to review in accordance with the directive:

  • All HCA contracts and procurements (including any related amendments) with effective dates on or after December 2, 2024
  • Purchases made on or after December 2, 2024

We understand that this is a challenging time for everyone impacted by the state’s budgetary measures, including our partners and contractors. The budget freeze has impacted timelines and processes, affecting how we work with stakeholders and contractors.

For our Tribal contractors, there will be a Dear Tribal Leader Letter with further detail sent out soon.

Thank you for your patience, HCA will issue more information as it becomes available.
