Substance use disorder (SUD) impacts thousands of families across Washington State, leaving parents and caregivers searching for answers, skills, and support. To address this need, Health Care Authority (HCA), in partnership with family-led organizations, is offering free education sessions designed by families, for families.

These 8-week, research-based sessions provide practical strategies to:

  • Improve communication and reduce conflict.
  • Strengthen relationships with loved ones.
  • Navigate Washington’s behavioral health systems.

What to expect

The sessions are offered year-round with flexible scheduling, including both morning and evening options. Each participant receives a certificate of completion upon finishing all modules.
