September is National Recovery Month
National Recovery Month was created in 1989 to promote and celebrate recovery across the nation by sharing success stories, highlighting evidence-based treatment, and fostering support and understanding for those on the recovery journey.
This year's theme is: "With the right treatment, support, and resources, recovery is REAL (Restoring Every Aspect of Life) for everyone."
In celebration, SAMHSA has created a toolkit to help partners find resources and spread awareness.
