Notice: MAT/MOUD Updates Medicaid State Plan Amendment Public Notice 25-0018
Description: HCA intends to submit Medicaid State Plan Amendment (SPA) 25-0018 to remove the September 30, 2025, end date of the Medication Assisted Treatment program coverage of Medications for Opioid Use Disorder, in compliance with the 2024 Consolidated Appropriations Act. The SPA will also consolidate and update service definitions and rename some services and provider types to better align with current usage and agency documents.
