IHCPs participate in the state’s Medicaid Transformation Project (MTP), specifically through Initiative 1 and implementation of culturally relevant projects. Through this initiative, IHCPs are updating and evolving the way people receive care from Washington’s 29 federally recognized tribes and two Urban Indian Health Programs.
IHCP-specific projects benefit and improve the health of American Indian and Alaska Native communities.
