Recently, Providence Swedish notified current patients about the upcoming contract termination with UnitedHealthcare effective January 1, 2027. This termination will affect the PEBB UnitedHealthcare Balance and Complete plans. PEBB UnitedHealthcare members can continue to receive in-network care and coverage from Providence providers through December 31, 2026.

UnitedHealthcare will be mailing notices to members at the beginning of PEBB open enrollment. HCA will also provide more information for PEBB members as we approach open enrollment (October 26 through November 23, 2026).
