Visit Premera's online provider directory. Medicare Supplement Plan G allows the use of any Medicare contracted physician or hospital nationwide.

Plan option

Plan G

This plan is designed to supplement your Medicare coverage by reducing your out-of-pocket expenses and providing additional benefits. It pays some Medicare deductibles and coinsurances, but primarily supplements only those services covered by Medicare. Benefits such as vision, hearing exams, and routine physical exams may have limited coverage or may not be covered at all. 

Medicare Supplement Plan G does not include prescription drug coverage. If you select this plan, you may have to enroll in Medicare Part D to get your prescriptions, unless you have other creditable prescription drug coverage (e.g., VA benefits).

Annual costs

You will need to pay the Medicare Part B deductible, which for 2024 is $240.

This plan is available in: 

  • All Washington State counties and nationwide. 

In most cases, you must live in a medical plan’s service area to join the plan. If you move out of your plan's service area, and you medical plan is no longer available, you must select a new plan. If you do not, the PEBB Program will enroll you in a plan. You must report your new address to your payroll or benefits office no later than 60 days after your move.
