Out-of-pocket limit, medical
Note: This definition is for UMP Classic and UMP Plus only. See the definition for UMP CDHP.
The medical out-of-pocket limit is the most you pay during a calendar year before the plan pays 100 percent of the allowed amount to preferred providers (network providers for UMP Plus). This limit does not include your premium, balance-billed charges, or services the plan does not cover. See "What doesn't count toward this limit?" for UMP Classic or UMP Plus.
Learn more about this limit in the "Medical out-of-pocket limit" section of your certificate of coverage.
