High-deductible health plan (HDHP)

A high-deductible health plan (HDHP) is any plan with a deductible of at least $1,350 for an individual or $2,700 for a family. A consumer-driven health plan (CDHP), also known as a consumer-directed health plan, is a HDHP with a health savings account.
