PEBB represented employees: Your $250 Medical FSA contribution is coming

The September 2018 collective bargaining agreement says represented employees with an annual income of $50,004 or less as of November 1, 2019 will receive a Medical Flexible Spending Arrangement (FSA) contribution of $250 in January 2020. This will be calculated by multiplying your monthly rate of pay on November 1, 2019 by 24 pay periods.

When can I use these funds?

If you are eligible for this benefit, the $250 will be available for you to claim (start spending on eligible medical expenses) starting January 1.

  • If you did not enroll in a Medical FSA for 2020, Navia Benefit Solutions will open an account in your name and send you a welcome letter and debit card loaded with $250.
  • If you enrolled in a Medical FSA, the $250 will be added to your Navia account in January 2020.

When will my debit card arrive?

Debit cards generally take longer than normal to mail at this time of year. You can expect your debit card in mid-January.

Between January 1 and when your debit card arrives, you can submit claims for reimbursement by logging in to your Navia account or by emailing claims@naviabenefits.com.
