Kaiser Permanente Washington opening five new medical offices
Kaiser Permanente Washington (KPWA) is expanding its number of medical centers to 30 by adding five new medical centers over the next 18 months. The organization announced Wednesday that individuals and families will soon have access to Kaiser Permanente’s care in Gig Harbor, Ballard, West Olympia, Smokey Point, and Seattle’s South Lake Union neighborhood. The new medical centers will open between the end of 2018 and early 2020.
KPWA offers four medical plans through the Public Employees Benefits Board (PEBB) Program, administered by Washington State Health Care Authority (HCA).
Concurrent with the new medical center openings, KPWA is undertaking an extensive redesign and remodel of its flagship Capitol Hill campus. That process will continue through 2022, and includes future expansion of CareClinic sites throughout the region. Earlier this year, the organization unveiled upgrades and innovations to its telehealth options to further expand consumer choice.
