National Prevention Week (NPW)

  • The Health Care Authority (HCA) and it's Division of Behavioral Health and recovery (DBHR) observe NPW to increase public awareness of mental and/or substance use disorders.
  • Our goal is for communities and organizations across the country to work together to raise awareness about the importance of substance use prevention and positive mental health.
  • NPW is an annual health observance dedicated to increasing public awareness of, and action around, mental and/or substance use disorders.

  • Daily webinars are available during NPW.
