The Health Care Authority (HCA) recently released a request for proposal (RFP) for short- and/or long-term disability insurance plans. This is one of the steps in fulfilling the procurement resolutions adopted by the School Employees Benefits Board (SEB Board) on March 15, 2018.

HCA issued this RFP allowing the bidder community to suggest various approaches to meet the need of the School Employees Benefits Board (SEBB) Program for both long-term and short-term disability insurance plans and to receive price information for each option.

Interested carriers may access the RFP documents on HCA’s Bids and contracts webpage, or on the Washington’s Electronic Business Solutions (WEBS) for Vendors site.

Proposals are due on June 13, 2018. HCA aims to announce the apparent successful bidder(s) and notify unsuccessful bidders by June 25, 2018.
