Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has extended the public health emergency (PHE) until October, 13 2022. The PHE is extended 90 days at a time. According to the HHS letter to Governors, the states will receive 60 days' notice before ending the PHE. We did not receive notice that the PHE will expire on October 13, 2022. We expect the PHE will be extended another 90 days to January 11, 2023.

Coverage for Apple Health members will be extended during the PHE. HCA will continue to share updates as new information becomes available.
