Age- and Dementia-Friendly Washington Action Plan open for review and feedback
The draft of the Age- and Dementia-Friendly Washington Action Plan is now available for review and feedback. Share your feedback by September 4, 2026.
The plan is for state agencies and state partner organizations. It amplifies community voices and focuses on where the state has power and capacity over the next three years.
The plan includes an overview of the Age- and Dementia-Friendly framework, key themes, and goals. The draft goals are to:
- Engage leaders at all levels in addressing community needs, prioritize and center community voices.
- Strengthen state capacity and multi-sector collaboration.
- Promote health and well-being at all ages.
- Cultivate a culture of planning for a long life.
