Children's Behavioral Health Executive Leadership Team (CBH ELT)
The Children’s Behavioral Health Executive Leadership Team (CBH ELT) works cooperatively and collaboratively across systems to assist in building an integrated delivery system of effective services and supports for treating children and youth with emotional or behavioral health needs, and their families.

In 2019, the Children's Mental Health Workgroup (CMHWG) recommended replacing the CBH ELT with a Family Youth System Partner Round Tables (FYSPRT) subgroup within CMHWG.
Along with state agency representatives, the subgroup would include representatives from:
- Community organizations
- Advocacy groups
- Families and youth with lived experience in behavioral health services or other child serving systems
On January 27, 2020, the Health Care Authority (HCA) held an informational session regarding the role of the FYSPRT subgroup for work group members and others.
The executive team provides executive-level policy decisions related to cross-agency/cross-administration children’s behavioral health initiatives. Decisions are made within the context of the Washington Children’s Behavioral Health Principles (Appendix A of the charter):
- Family and youth voice and choice
- Team based
- Natural supports
- Home and community-based
- Culturally relevant
- Strength based
The executive team responds to statewide Family Youth System Partner Round Table (FYSPRT) recommendations.
Learn more about the statewide FYSPRT on our Family Youth System Partner Round Table (FYSPRT) page.
