No-cost care

UMP Plus covers the following services at no cost to you, under the conditions described. For example, to receive preventive care services at no cost, you must see a network provider.

Preventive care

Preventive care services include many vaccines, routine physical exams, and certain tests. You must see a network provider to receive preventive services without paying your deductible or coinsurance. Call UMP Customer Service at 1-888-849-3681 with questions about which services are covered as preventive.

Primary care network provider services

You pay nothing for office visit charges when you see a Primary Care Network Provider affiliated with your UMP Plus network. Other services provided at a primary care visit may be subject to the medical deductible and coinsurance.

Tobacco cessation services

You can get drugs, nicotine replacement therapy, or other services and supplies related to tobacco cessation without participating in the Quit for Life program. The Quit for Life counseling services are still available at no cost for UMP Plus members. See more about coverage for tobacco cessation services.

Diabetes prevention program

Are you vulnerable to diabetes? About one-third of Americans are and don’t even know it. And one in ten is already diagnosed with this complex, life-threatening disease.

To fight this disease, UMP teams up with the Diabetes Prevention and Control Alliance (DPCA) to help prevent diabetes. The Diabetes Prevention Program (DPP) is for those with prediabetes or at risk of developing diabetes. This program is free to UMP members ages 18 and older. Call 1-800-237-4942 for more information.
