What is a UMP Plus specialty network provider?

A UMP Plus specialty network provider is:

  • A professional provider affiliated with your UMP Plus network (who is not a primary care provider), or
  • An ancillary provider who is a Regence network provider.

Here are some examples of specialty network providers. Use the search links above for the full list of specialty providers in your UMP Plus network.

  • Allergists
  • Cardiologists
  • Dermatologists
  • Endocrinologists
  • Gastroenterologists
  • Neurologists
  • Urologists

To receive network-level benefits for specialty providers, the provider must be affiliated with your UMP Plus network.

What happens if I see a specialty provider outside my UMP Plus network?

If you see a non-network or out-of-network provider, you pay 50 percent of the plan allowed amount. In addition, you pay any amount over the allowed amount billed by an out-of-network provider. Note that if you search for specialty providers at regence.com instead of your UMP Plus network, the provider may be non-network.
