State Agencies
Representatives from the following state agencies participate in the Technical Advisory Group meetings. These agencies coordinate in the development and maintenance of health care payment systems through the interagency Reimbursement Steering Committee (RSC) work group.
- The Washington State Health Care Authority: the agency that administers the Public Employees Benefits Board (PEBB), Basic Health, Community Health Services, the Prescription Drug Program, and the Uniform Medical Plan.
- The Uniform Medical Plan (UMP): the preferred provider organization administered by the Health Care Authority.
- The Department of Labor & Industries (L&I): the agency that administers the state's workers' compensation and crime victims' compensation programs.
- The Department of Social and Health Services' Health and Recovery Services Administration (DSHS-HRSA): the agency that administers the state's Medicaid program.
