TAG Meetings

TAG meetings are held three times per year and are open to the public. The TAG meetings are chaired by Nancy L. Fisher, MD, Medical Director for the Washington State Health Care Authority.

Meeting Format and Topics

TAG meetings are held in conjunction with the Medicare Contractor Advisory Committee (CAC) meetings, on the same date and at the same location. CAC meetings begin at 4:30 PM, followed by a joint CAC/TAG meeting from 6:00 PM to 6:30 PM, followed by the continuation of the TAG meeting until 9:00 PM.

The joint CAC/TAG portion of the meeting includes Medicare updates by representatives from Noridian Administrative Services and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) Region 10. During the remainder of the TAG meeting, the group shares information and solicits feedback about the state agencies' health care programs.

To suggest a TAG agenda topic or request to present at an upcoming TAG meeting, email our TAG Coordinator (please specify "TAG agenda" in the email subject line).

Attending TAG Meetings

TAG members, representatives from state agencies, representatives from Medicare, and other interested parties attend the TAG meetings. TAG participants may attend the meetings in person or by teleconference.

Interested Parties

If you are attending as an interested party, please leave the seats at the table for the TAG members, but find a seat around the room and help yourself to refreshments.
