Errors in For Your Benefit Retiree Newsletter -- Updated Nov. 6

The PEBB Program recently mailed its October For Your Benefit newsletter to retirees, explaining the changes in PEBB Program coverage for 2010. Some errors appear in the “2010 changes in member costs” section (pages 2-5) and the “2010 medical benefits cost comparison” section (pages 8-9). Please see the correct information below.

Kaiser Permanente Classic (non-Medicare members only), page 3

The spinal manipulation copay amount will not change in 2010. The 2010 cost will be the same as in 2009, $15 per visit.

Uniform Medical Plan (non-Medicare and Medicare), pages 5 and 8

The costs for ambulance (air) and prescription drugs (both retail and mail order) will not change in 2010. The 2010 costs will be the same as in 2009, as shown below:

In addition, here are the correct costs for the following UMP benefits in 2010 (pages 8-9):
