What's covered

What is different between Managed Care and Fee For Service programs?

  • Managed Care The state health insurance plan or a tribal clinic to cover most of your medical care. You pick a plan and you go to the doctor. The doctor will give you the care or send you to a specialist. Visit Managed Care Programs for more information
  • Fee-for-service You see any doctor who will take your Services card. You use this card to get all your medical care and the doctor bills the Medicaid program for the services.
