Medicaid Transformation waiver — moving Healthier Washington forward
Washington has submitted an application to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) for a five-year 1115 Medicaid waiver demonstration.
The Medicaid Transformation waiver has three initiatives that will make it possible for us to invest in:
Building better systems for delivering whole-person care through community and health system partnerships.
Expanding options for how we serve those with long-term care needs.
Providing our most vulnerable populations with the supports they need to get and stay healthy.
These investments will help us spend our Medicaid dollars more wisely and lead to a healthier Washington.
