HCA conducted the first of a series of forums to take place over the next four years to communicate with providers, health care organizations, and other stakeholders in the statewide Health Information Technology activities supported by the state and funded by the ARRA-HITECH grants. The grants are managed by the Office of the National Coordinator and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. Representatives from both organizations attended the meeting held June 24 in Seattle. HCA is the lead agency for the state’s ARRA-HITECH activities.
