Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

What is the EAP?

The EAP helps state government employees and their family members resolve personal or work-related problems.

Why promote the EAP?

Employees can use EAP services at no extra cost. EAP can help employees with a wide range of issues, including but not limited to depression, stress, anxiety, addictions, anger, parenting issues, workplace issues, marital or relationship issues, and grief and loss.

How can I help?

Start with SmartHealth to add a customizable online experience to your worksite wellness efforts. Employees can join an EAP activity you promote from SmartHealth on a laptop, tablet, or smartphone, making it easy to stay engaged both in and out of the office.

You can also help by promoting the EAP to your employees and giving them access to EAP publications and materials.
